Terms of use
By using O2 (oxy messenger) you agree to these terms.
1. Account and password
- Encryption keys are created from your password right on your device. A forgotten password cannot be recovered — we do not know it.
- Keep your account transfer string and password safe. If your password may have leaked, change it in settings.
- Nicknames are pinned in a public registry. Do not take other people’s names or brands to impersonate them.
2. What is not allowed
- breaking the law, including spreading prohibited material;
- spam, scams and malicious messages;
- harassment, threats, or publishing other people’s personal data without consent;
- 18+ material and profanity in public posts;
- interfering with the network: attacking nodes or bypassing rate limits.
3. Public content
Posts, comments and pages are visible to everyone. You are responsible for what you publish. We may automatically or manually remove public content that breaks these terms and restrict network access for violators.
4. Tokens
In-app tokens are network units for rewards and transfers between users. They are not money or securities and cannot be exchanged with us for money.
5. How the service works
Messages are delivered through nodes and from device to device. The service is provided “as is”: we work to keep it stable but do not guarantee delivery of every message at any moment, especially without internet.
6. Age
You must be 14 or older to use the service.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; the new version will appear on this page. By continuing to use the service you accept the updated terms.
Privacy is covered in the privacy policy. Questions — message @founder in the app.
