After seven years of leaks, the ISS's PrK tunnel is reportedly shut for good

Some context: the PrK is a short tunnel inside the back end of the Russian Zvezda module, and it has leaked air through cracks since 2019. Russianspaceweb reports the partners have decided to keep it closed for good. NASA and Roscosmos haven't announced it, but it matches what two NASA officials told Ars Technica's Eric Berger in June.

The practical change: Progress cargo ships docked behind the PrK were unloaded through it, and that same port is where they fire their engines to raise the station's orbit. From Progress MS-36, due to launch on 24 November, a Progress will dock at the Poisk module to be unloaded and then move to the back port to do the pushing.
